"That's fine. Whoever finds it probably needs it more than I. It's not quite uncommon for this to happen." Elric admitted, chuckling a tad. He did agree with that sort of motto-- to help others whenever he could. He did consider himself a traveling healer of sorts, though that came with good and bad it seemed. Might just be poor luck.
Elric gave Eve a nod in return for her words, a form of thanks, before his attention was drawn to Selene, watching as she slipped away from the the taller of the duo. Would it be rude to watch Selene's escape amusing? Regardless, he smiled all the same as the angel watched, curious what she was planning on doing.
He was a little surprised that she was still concerned, nodding to her first question, though pausing at the next. He didn't like to lie, but he felt like it was wrong to admit that it hurt. It wasn't something he couldn't handle, but Elric didn't want to worry anyone. "If I can think of a way for you to help, I'll let you know." He settled, returning a smile to match her own.
Elric seemed to ponder the proposition for a moment, thinking it might be the best to take up their offer, before his thoughts shifted to food. When was the last time he had food? While his mind supplied him with a blank space, his stomach had answered in its silence. With a shy chuckle, he accepted the offered fruit. "Thank you. This is a wonderful help." He informed Selene, hands having already started to peel the fruit.
He wasn't sure when he had started, but it was already a quarter of the way peeled by the time he noticed. Once the fruit had been skinned of it's peel, he carefully broke the orange into sections, as if trying to split it all equally, ending up with 5 sections of the orange. It didn't take long before he offered a peeled section to Selene in thanks. The angel didn't know their background, after all. If this was some of their food rations, he didn't want to take it all for himself.
