The impact with the bricks wasn't exactly graceful. And the fact someone sort of fell on their face might even be disgraceful far as landings went. Carmen wasn't going to judge though. As a "little" girl she often tripped over herself because she was in fact not small and for some time finding decent shoes was a pain. And while there may have been a little concern of accidently breaking a whatever this was's nose the laughter immediately pulled one from Carmen as well. Pain or not someone was having fun, and that was a huge part of who Carmen was. She didn't always think herself pretty or clever but she did feel she was a hell of a sight in the ring. And while she was very compassionate she would easily argue she felt the most alive in a fight.
"Use your wings more. It's a advantage at landing you have. They can also be a target but when fighting you should use all you got bro. Especially around here, or in meta fights. When I do it again, catch yourself and counter. And dont worry about me, your sword might have been interesting but the improv sword? I can handle it." Carmen wasn't going to act like her teaching was all codes of conduct because Duskburg didn't have such. Street fights turned to murder scenes and so she had no issue encouraging any trick one could handle. "Unless you meant hand holding. Because uh im actually maybe seeing someone. And you're soooo not her."
Enough banter time to close the gap. The asphalt fractures under the pressure of the movements a few steps and the devil closed the gap the time it took was not human. It still wasn't necessarily fast more rivaling a charging animal then anything to extreme. A jab comes hoping to be avoided, a hit that looked for armored chest plate. It was still a strike however that could collapse steel. This was just a move to daze or evade though to set up for the real move.
Her other hand reached for the sword arm and would look to grip wrist and forarm in the much larger hands of the Oni. Carmen looking to spin with enough speed most would get whiplash before flinging the winged knight into the air. A throw that looked to toss someone a good hundred feet above. The Oni figured the armor could take the landing if someone couldn't correct their fall. Her boxing stance though was light and bouncy, hoping for a move to come her way. Typically someone falling a hundred feet would mean a smear on the concrete, this was not the outcome she wanted, but getting to do such moves made the devil all smiles.
