Poison in a Kool-Aid Pouch

Jordan was going to be leaving Millenium soon for a few days, aiming to try and prepare a trap for Gawain. She would look to spin a web and lay some traps. Just trying to be ready for when the tyrant came back. She didn't want to stay over there granted, but finding a means to develop a more permanent set up would take time. In the meantime before leaving though the alabaster arachnid had been wanting to do some more easygoing heroism. Just stopping thugs before lunch.

And it had proven to be quite fun, the landscape of a rooftop had been enjoyable for her. Bouncing off an air conditioning unit to evade an attack here. Swinging off a satellite dish for someone's TV there. A dexterous enjoyable dance around and through the dealers who had been on the roof. A pleasure found in disarming and knocking out the various opponents with a almost graceful performance. Once they were bested a few seconds were taken to web them to the nearest surface be it face down, crumpled on a wall, or hanging upside down from a cell tower. The drugs and illegal arms also webbed close by. She may have called the police, but if evidence wasn't there then a case could have been made. Making sure those weapons and narcotics would be on the scene was vital.

Feeling good she moved to the ledge to jump off. More a back flip styled dive Jordan rushed toward the street below. It was maybe more dramatic and theatrical then what anything called for that was rather pleasant to Jordan though. The dramatics of heroism and hunting down criminals had been her way of getting a hold of herself. She lands, and just as she touches down hood dropping and letting her feel the breeze 9f the day on her face she was bumped into.

The more crouched position of landing didn't help Jordan. She was in a city of heroes close to the college just after a event that upped security she wasn't on highest alert here. Her senses weren't trying to be ready to defend or dodge anything from anywhere. Leading to the bump, knocking the costumed hero over.

Jordan picks herself up,she'd take a hand if offered but it wasn't necessary. "Don't worry about it, I should have been on a higher alert. Jordan and you are?" A growl would soon be heard right after, a surprisingly audible sound escaping the spider themed hero. It used to amuse Jordan, she had been a shape shifter who barely ate anything before her accident. Now though she used that shape shifting to style herself like this, and ate a lot to maintain a feeling of self. "Care to join me for lunch or something?"

There was an impressive amount of strength behind the arms that helped Jordan up. Was well covered by jackets but it sure was there all the same. Jordan wondered the why. Any other city gym rat would be the go to, just someone who works out. Millenium though was the like capital for super heroes and vigilantes. Made Jordan wonder if there was more to it then that.

She also realized how comically contrasted they probably looked. One in layers one in a skin tight heroic attire. There was a more visible strength to Venus as opposed to the athletic build of Jordan. There was a bit of dramatics that was a bit to much for Jordan. She needed that kind of break however she thought. Jordan was a little lost in how does a spider make a web for someone like Gawain. She could use something not to serious.

"Uh ever been to Le Matadors? The Matador retired like twelve years ago but set up a little restaurant of his own after that. He does good work, bit obsessed with spicy stuff though." The once hero had lost his powers to a magician, his knee replaced by being capped by a mob boss, his back worn down from age. The life of a hero had worn on him and making really hot food was his way of still feeling tough. The alabaster arachnid would take point walking toward the restaurant.

"So from here or visiting? I uh was from here, left post accident, came back. Now I'm considering if moving is a option. Don't want to be stuck in France. Like it here and no way I could afford that. But Uh next time someone shows up to his place I want to be there. See how he likes being attacked at his own home."

"Is it toxic if I answer with a yes?" Jordan remarked in jest. She was in costume she couldn't have pulled off a lie probably even if she wanted to. Sometimes she second guessed the name, poison didn't sound to heroic. She thought it to apt a title however to change it. A spider name seemed cliche, her powers and origins were rather poison centric. So she stuck to the title she had.

A sigh escapes her for a moment. "Yeah. And suppose attack wasn't to bad in the end but it shakes things you know. A campus that allows that, I shouldn't stay. Moment like that possible, someone should be there to defend against it. And Gawain he needs to be stopped, but who knows if he'd even come back. I feel I don't know lost I guess." He was one villain heroism didn't revolver around a singular entity. Jordan also though, wasn't someone who could be anywhere in the world in a instant. She was one of the heroes who had to pick their battles.

"Sorry kind of unloaded there. What you going to college for? Drive over here or did you take the train." Jordan herself liked the subway more. SUre driving between the cities was doable but traffic was awful so often. Jordan also just didn't drive,, took money she just didn't have. She also imagined she'd probably test her senses and racing to much.

A left turn is taken on the walk. In the distance a sort of hole in the wall establishment could be seen. Smashed between a busy coffee shop and some antique store was Matadors. A muscular silhouette was on a poster above the place, the only real color on the figure that popped being hints of the luchador mask worn by the hero. Jordan with her senses could smell the food from here. Masterfully cooked and terribly over seasoned. She thought it one of the best combinations herself. But then she could sweat cyanide maybe her sense of taste was awry.

"Cool. Went for toxicology myself, pain trying to pin that down." Jordan had struggled a bit in locking down what courses to take to get into that. Eventually she did but not all that long after an internship helping study such science blew up in her face. "What you into it for? Like doctor stuff or?" The arachnid liked hearing why people studied what they did. Of course not every student graduated and not every graduate landed the job they were shooting for. Jordan rather liked still hearing about the ambitions. In a way partly because she didn't feel like she could return to such a lifestyle.

Jordan just wanted to make poisons and cures to them. As Poison though she didn't think that job existed anymore for her.

They were presently waiting in line and Jordan looked over the menu screens above. There were many good options, and almost all of them were tainted with peppers and spices. "Muerta fajitas are my favorite. Isn't the quick dish but worth it." Of course so much of the food wanted to be not only spicy but hastily made. Get it out quick to get to another customer in the ever busy city as it were. A good fajita though wasn't just spat out. "Way he marinates the steak in spicy is perfect. Or self destructive not sure yet."
