Lyra was getting a little restless, the normal talking interrupting her little sleep. Satan’s Shadow began to adjust her slightly, placing his massive clawed hand that was around her back, around her ear, gently pushing her head into his neck further. Her frustrations sank away as Lyra relaxed back into her rest.
The Parasite listened to the two talk, processing the information that was being said and thinking of the advantages and disadvantages. Politely, Satan’s Shadow looked at Spider-Bite, speaking quietly:
“First of all, if you could both keep your tones down that would be great. Let’s not wake the bear. The longer she sleeps the easier it is for us to move about. But… your idea, moving her somewhere safe with people who may be best for her is our safest bet. Secondly, I would personally like to evaluate these areas and compare them to what she needs and what she has been through.”
He paused, adjusting Lyras arms and legs once more before continuing,
“Despite who she is, and what she does she can and will be reasonable. If we all stay relatively quiet the transfer can go undisturbed and we can all leave with zero injuries.”
He was attempting to reassure them both while considering all options. She rarely sleeps. Lyra must be tired from travelling, but once she does wake up her energy will be bustling. The Parasite lingered on this thought but just decided he would deal with it later.
“Although, you will be unable to disarm her. Yes you can take her knives but she will go into a fury of outbursts and rage. It is best we leave those alone. This idea could, and should work. If the place looks less facility-like and can adhere to her needs that would be the best option available.”
Once more, Satan’s Shadow became more confident. He knew her tendencies and destructive behaviour but now they were somewhere new where she may find something that can sate that undying energy. He sighed before refocusing on controlling what her subconscious was seeing, this was what he was passively doing throughout conversation.
Lyra was technically asleep, but her mind was like a different dimension. In this dark void she would be training against her mistakes, how she got hit and how she got caught. Constantly training to be better all under the guidance of someone dear to her. Yet this can make her more groggy and tired if it is interrupted - and Lyra is a light sleeper.
