GENERAL INFORMATION
Purchased for its affordable housing and relative closeness to the Queens borough and the Imperial State University, Cassidy DeWitt's home away from his old sweet home is a rather small single room apartment located on the fourth floor of the mid-rise building Squareside Apartments. The fourth floor is accessible either by a flight of stairs or a small elevator. The two entrances of the apartment room, which also function as the only exits, that lead inside are the main entryway and the fire escape situated outside the window, to be used in case of emergency or for Cassidy's extranormal exploits outside of his usual day-to-day activities. The door handle and lock are broken, however, and require a replacement, but the hinges are so old and worn-down that it is almost impossible to open the door unless a shoulder and sheer brute strength is put to use.The inside of the apartment room can be only be best described as an organized mess with various items, clothing, tools, food, and boxes littering the entirety of the room as Cassidy DeWitt has devised an easy organization system without having to put too much work into maintaining said system, allowing him more time and flexibility on other projects and activities. Somehow, the place smells as fresh as roses nearly constantly despite the mess or chemicals lying around for his science equipment.
The tenant residing inside this room has received a few noise complaints regarding his stays as well as being late on rent several times and performing his chemical experiments. Despite this, none of the other tenants seemed to be much bothered by his presence, except for one or two, and are rather amicable with him as he is with them. In fact, he has become the resident go-to-person for anyone requiring a handyman or someone well-versed in fixing and installing various machines and devices. Thus, his talents and such have earned him a bit of leeway, especially in this more run-down and beat-up complex.
In all honesty, the only real question and issue is: how has Cassidy not found the time to clean up his mess of a room?
While the rent may be cheap at this apartment complex, there are a couple more expensive and well-to-do apartment complexes further out while smaller mom and pop shops and restaurants sit closer to the mid-rise building. The whole locale surrounding the apartment including the residence still lies on the upper border between Queens and Brooklyn.This area around this particular apartment building has become famous for one thing during the previous span of a year or so. This area has been shown to be one of the more regular routes that superhero Spider-Bite has taken when traveling between Queens and other boroughs while on patrols throughout the various districts, occasionally stopping to stop a petty crime or greet the local citizens from time-to-time. This has added to the extra layer of security everyone feels as they go about their business, knowing about the constant nature of these visits and patrols.
Other than that, this area is about the same as any other. Busy, bustling, buzzing.
