Legend tells of a place beyond existence and time, between the infinite possibility of the expanding multiverse and the darkness of nothingness that came before and after where weary travelers might find reprieve, entertainment, and possibly even adventure. The drinks flow endlessly, the food tastes better than anything you’ve ever had and everything you know and have never heard of is on the menu. The rooms are impossibly spacious, the beds unimaginably soft and comfortable. This legend is known as the Infinity Inn.
It is unknown how one reaches the Inn, as it seems all experiences differ. Some mortal races may never find it, while other might have free access upon their travels. The doorway to the Infinity is closed to nothing, and though everyone is welcome the Three Rules are so resolute that no being can break them. Through the maintenance of the staff and the direction of the proprietor the Infinity Inn shelters and refreshes any traveler that happens onto its grounds.
By whatever happenstance you find yourself here, seeking the fabled hub in pursuit of your own goals, but be warned that the Three Rules have already be enacted upon you.
The First: No Death Shall Close These Doors- The first rule applies to any fatal wound, debilitating illness, lethal poison, etc. Essentially all guest at the Infinity are rendered immortal, though only to the point that would affect their ability to pay their dues or vacate when Evicted. Those who seek to kill others might find themselves judged by The First as well, banished from the realm for a determined length of time that may or may not last well beyond the end of their existence. Though it is not recommended to test the limits of The First’s judgement clauses there is a countless list of Evicted patrons available upon request.
The Second: All Must Pay- Every business runs on profit, and the Infinity is no different. A toll will be taken from all guests for their time spent, a flat rate arranged upon their entrance with The Host. As there are different forms of currency throughout the multiverse anything of value can be offered, but once the rate is set it cannot be changed for any individual. A three day grace period is given to the reluctant or impoverished traveler, and a tab can be set up with The Host but will also come with a set time of compensation. The moment funds cannot be provided or the Grace Period is over and funds are still unavailable the offending traveler will be instantly transported to a place beyond the Infinity’s boundaries.
The Third: The Infinity Is Neutral Ground- The Infinity does not discern among its clients at all, and at times opposing factions from the same or similar realities might find themselves dining within its halls. While a good fight is expected in a tavern a full scale war will not be tolerated, and the proprietor of the establishment will issue an immediate Eviction upon any altercations that involve weapons and go beyond one on one combat. Bar brawls are acceptable, but any damages will be billed to offending parties and payment will be required the next day. No grace period is allotted for damage charges.
Eviction- An eviction from the Infinity is a complete and instant ban from the grounds. Through no means will any traveler be able to return to the grounds until the Eviction reaches its end date or is lifted at the discretion of the proprietor.
The Three Rules are irrefutable, and while no traveler shall ever lose their life on the Infinity grounds many have lamented their Eviction from such an exemplary way station.

Thank you so much for taking the time to read my scribbled notes for this roleplay. As member join and the story continues more lore and information will be built, but for now this about all I have come up with.
The idea is that any character is allowed, be they villain or hero, sci-fi or fantasy, tentacle monster, human, or cartoon animal. A dinner with strange and otherworldly characters? A fight with an alien gladiator? A steamy romance with a three eyed bunny girl? Anything is possible here, except for true death. Bring in your favorite character, try out interacting with a new idea, or whatever you want to do it’s all fine so long as we follow the site rules.
I am thinking to do this in chapters that span perhaps a month, allowing for however many tavern-y adventures we can fit into them before giving players the option of retiring their characters or simply bringing in new blood. I really hope at least a few people are interested enough to get this started, and thank you again for taking the time to read!
