Please see the attached file on deceased Time Siphon subject. Hound 35 tracked them to a lesser known star system on the edge of Spiral Galaxy 336A-34-Z. Body not recovered. I've attached their various crimes to as a separate file for ease of access and I advise caution in stamping this one permanently deceased. The body fell to an inhabited world and thus out of our present jurisdiction. As ever it is possible the Time Siphon survived.
At least for now it's trapped if it is alive. I'm closing the file on this one for now. Biographical data presented below.
Name: Brasye (Breeze) or the lyrical form combined with three sound meaning "The sound of a breeze through leaves in fall" in Time Siphonese.
Species: Time Siphon
Original Sex: Female
Most Recent Sex: Male
Age: unknown
Alliances, Attachments, and Enemies: None known.
Most recent appearance subject to change.
Gear:
Temporal Armor- Fabricated from Time itself Temporal Armor is a parasitic sem-sentient adaptive armor capable of absorbing absolutely absurd levels of punishment, if the Time Siphon wearing it has enough temporal energy stored. The armor's abilities fluctuate with the power stores of its wearer. Temporal Armor is capable of taking on a form and appearance pleasing to the Time Siphon, including the look, feel, and behavior of simple fabric. It may even not appear at all. The armor's base abilities include flight and a limited array of weapon systems, usually in the form of a plasma gun built into the palm or forearm. These are usually last ditch weapons. The more damage the armor takes the more it will consume from its wearer's temporal stores. A Time Siphon particularly low on energy will either not don the armor at all, or ditch it as soon as it is damaged and call it back to them later.
Temporal armor is useless for other species, it's desire to consume temporal energy will simply kill anyone else who puts it on. (Brasye's armor is damaged and its flight systems deactivated)
Known Powers:
Temporal Drain- Time Siphons attack by draining the potential energy from their target. This has the effect of rapid onset decay and death and is a process that takes an alarmingly short thirty seconds, give or take. The best defense is to force the Time Siphon to let go of its attack, or to distract it, or even get out of range. Typical range is thirty feet, though this increases with the power of the Siphon in question. This can also be used on inanimate objects, though Time Siphons show a preference for the living.
Temporal Healing- Time Siphons can heal themselves from grievous wounds by tapping into their temporal stores. This is often done only in emergencies, because they hate using energy when not necessary and it is a significant drain on those stores.
Slow Time- Brasye is capable of slowing time for inanimate objects in their immediate vicinity. This can take the form of making bullets appear to all but stop in mid air. This power requires the use of temporal stores and has a range of ten to twenty feet, depending upon stores.
Bodily Regeneration- As with all Time Siphons when their present body is slain Brasye can generate a new one from temporal stores. This is a disorienting, draining process. The form they take is random, 'chosen' from a previous victim. They will often gain some of the victim's traits as well.
Time Skip- Limited to objects touched, Brasye can launch a non-sentient item forward or backward in its present time stream by a number of seconds, depending on Brasye's temporal stores.
Other Traits:
Temporal Stores- Time Siphons store drained temporal energy and can become extremely powerful, dramatically increasing the influence and range of their abilities and sometimes gaining previously forgotten ones. By the same token, they can lose range and abilities as they are required to use energy.
Temporal Sight- All Time Siphons can see a victim's potential futures once they make a connection. They can also tell if someone has recently time travelled and are often drawn to these individuals, sometimes unconsciously.
Memory Pane- Time Siphons have what they call a Memory Pane. Their memories are shattered and can be unavailable to them at low power levels. Many is the Time Siphon who has gone nearly feral, completely forgetting all but the most basic facts of their identity at near death levels of temporal starvation. Powers are stored within these memory "shards" so a Time Siphon can gain, or lose, abilities and skills. They will also often take on some random skill of their present body.
Eternal Starvation- A Time Siphon will be happy to remind you they are eternally starving, like victims of famine. This is never slated and never abates. There is a reason most Time Siphons are more or less insane.
Brasye's thought of the day:
Out there in space is a gas giant, it's the biggest planet in this system. Under no circumstances should you fly through it. It hurts.
