Kavalkad stood in silence as the situation unfolded around him. This was... a lot of information to process so soon after waking up. Kavalkad noticed Svari's glance, and a directional nod as Kort seemed to spill his marbles all over the floor. He sighed, "Well, I do not know how to handle this situation, but... there is one problem I can handle."
With that, he sauntered over to Kort, turned the leader to face him, and -with a slight pause and a warm, friendly smile, smacked Kort across the face as hard as he could, gripping the man's shoulders and shaking him about. "GET YOURSELF TOGETHER, SOUP! WE COULD USE YOUR LOGIC!"
After a few hard thrashes to and fro, he pushed Kort down on the ground and smiled at Svari. "There. All better. If I go mad seeing Sherpite Snow Demons next, do the same to me." He sat next to their new visitor. A more... calm and understanding look on his face as he placed a hand over the man's breastplate, "Just take some slow deep breaths. In through the nose, out through the mouth. Meat!" he called, fishing a metal cup out of his bag, "Heat up some water for this man. He needs to take warmth within himself so his body will stop punishing him so."
He leaned closer to the man, lowering his voice somewhat to influence the man to speak a bit more calmly, "My friend, not that I do not doubt your story- We are Ikeans, Followers of the Sherpas, like you- we need to know more, anything you might remember. Are the feudalists chasing you? How far behind will they be? Do they know where you were going or where you could be?"
Though his questions aired an aura of astute friendliness, his face showed a mix of fear and tension as each one left his lips. Kavalkad could do nothing but worry now. What in the White just fell into their laps?
