Kort looked at Svari and Kavalkad as they replied. Kavalkad made a good point, if they went south they could possibly find the people of the great IBM and find food and shelter, then the wind would be at their back and they could use the snow gliders. But that would be the easy route and they were here to show their worth. "Alright then that settles it, we shall continue north. I believe the olds scouts mentioned something about reaching the towers of old would be a day and a half." Kort said as he readied himself for the trip. "Guys this next part is gonna be hell we need to be strong, let's go and conquer this storm." He said as the group began to March.
The group walked a quite significant distance, while the snow was packed fairly hard it was still snow, each step would just slightly drain extra energy and speed. The constant howling of the wind made it hard to hear, hard to think. The cold wasn't felt on the skin but your very bones. But the worst part of it all was the sun was going down
it was hard to tell, sort of, the way the white floating ball sat behind the thick layers of clouds. But you could still see it and Kort knew when you couldn't see it is when it became actually cold. "We need to take shelter, it's already getting colder and I'd rather not stay out here." Kort mentioned the other two.
After another hour or so the group stumbled upon a large snow drift, big enough to be used as a cave. When they got in they luckily found that there were no signs of any other occupants. Kort put his backpack on the ground and began his role as a leader. "Alright, Svari, you look around to see if you can see signs of life, good or bad. Kavalkad, you start preparing a fire, I'll start getting a camp ready. Let's do it." Kort said with an order. As the other two began their tasks Kort began his, he rolled out bed mats for everyone as well as started pulling out rations "if either of you happen to see something edible on the adventure please do not hesitate to eat it or share it with us because wow do we not have a lot to live on. So who's cooking first?" Kort asked with big smile,
