"Hm. Speed... Speed." Curiosity mentally pulls up the statistics for the particular model of bird-bot, and recites the pertinent information. "Around 70 miles per hour flying horizontally, and able to reach over 200 when diving. Modeled after the peregrine falcon." Curiosity has never had much interest in being quick, though they suppose it could prove useful in the future. Maybe there will be some previously undiscovered but especially quick species they'll need to catch sometime. Speed would be useful then. As it is, they pop the built-in wheels out of their heels, which makes them a little faster than normal, though not terribly. It's a little like putting on roller skates.
"I don't have a tracker for the bird. It would be improper put one on a bird that isn't my own." Or something like that. Curiosity tries her best to be cognizant of the wishes of her customers, and Mr. Roboto didn't strike her as the kind of person who would want her to modify his treasured pet beyond her basic repairs. Besides, she doesn't make a habit of carrying trackers with her, and it would take more time than she has patience for to build one from scratch. "I could perhaps track it by its electronic signature, but I don't have an especially large range for that sort of thing."
"Still, it is worth a try." The android stops walking and beckons the cage forward, crouching down to slide the door open. He blinks over his shoulder at the planet-person, now with a child on her back. "...If you are ready? Little Io, what are you doing?" He notices that Ollie seems to be made of a different kind of metal now, and he spots the can in her hand. Interesting. Density shifting, perhaps? Or absorption and mimicry? It's a good idea, either way. Lighter will hopefully translate to faster.
