Name: Taylor Wolf Age: 25 Height: 5'9 Weight: 148 lbs Hair color: Red Eye color: Green
Powers: Taylor seems to be able to manifest her beliefs into something that takes physical shape. She's not sure if this is a power or an actual factor of her faith. At either rate tight now this allows three traits.
Restoration-Believing that the Wolf Fensif was the embodiment of the hunt and rebirth Taylor has developed a nack for recovering. It isn't over night or anything but she's been known to come back to work sooner or removing bandages earlier then expected. If she had to guess she would say it's heals three times sooner then expected? Hard to say, she's not a scientist and thinks this bound to faith anyway.
Senses-Tayĺor has a limited form of night vision, it's not perfect but like a wolf she can hunt in the night as well as the day. Like wolves her hearing is sharper, nothing to special but better. A dog will hear a stranger sooner and better then a person will but that doesn't mean Taylor hears every whisper from a neighbor's apartment. Mostly her improved sense is smell a wolf can smell things from a mile and a half away, it's said to be a hundred times stronger then humans. One can imagine how helpful that can be as a detective or chasing someone down. With just an inhale Taylor can often tell one's gender, their mood, likely what they've eaten and how recently, or how recently someone has been by. There's some idea of what ones general state of health is as well.
A construct-As it stands right now she can summon a spectral Wolf, which can help in chasing someone down but otherwise doesn't do much. This intangible Wolf can't harm anything, but she does seem able to pet him, he does eat things. Which may hint at greater potential in her ability if she were to delve into it more. She calls the wolf Fen, to name it Fensif she would think offensive at this time.
History:
As a girl Taylor grew up being told of the God Fensif, a wolf of huge stature that looked over people so long a go. Stories upon stories were told of the hunt. As well as of rebirth and restoration. The culture Fensif hailed from was swift to fixate on how hunting made one feel and how the spoils helped the body. And without getting to lost in describing every myth tied to Fensif it stuck with Taylor.
This made her loyal, it1 made her lively, and it made her a hunter. She didn't want to knock out a bully, no she had to record what her classmate said. Creep around and get photos, and then when she finally got in a fight with him she could make a case! Like those police shows she loved, and truthfully Taylor sat in that office with a bloody nose and black eye having clearly not won. But the hunt gave spoils all the same. And this sparked her becoming fixated on this kind of behavior. Around fifteen she started to develop "powers".
This was weird overwhelming and not something she could really talk about. It only pushed her more in her investigation ways however leading her to an obvious pick in occupation downn the line. She became a cop, she worked her way up to detective. She is now Detective Wolf going on one year soon. She's partial to capoeira and kick boxing practice in much of her down time. She's no olympic athlete but the pest part of her job is when the hunt leads to chase! Where she can run a perp down and then kick them in the head...and likely be told she didn't have to kick them.
Identity: Ember Alias: "John Smith" Name: Age: 28 Hair: Black Eyes: Red
Occupation: As "John Smith," he owns and is the sole employee of "Ember Investigations," a private investigations company specializing in crimes both by and against the transmundane.
Special Ability: Ember has the power to make things hot. This is not necessarily the same as creating fire, although he can set things on fire if they are flammable enough. His power is related to the heat, though, rather than the fire. He is capable of heating most substances, and can boil water at a touch. The hotter he wants to make something, the closer he has to be to it. He can imbue some limited heat from across a room, but if he wants to make a greater difference, he will need to be close to the object in question. The greatest change requires physical contact.
History: Ember is not entirely sure when his ability developed, but he was aware of having it by the end of high school. Due to its somewhat quiet nature, it is an easy ability to hide, and Ember chose to keep it a secret, given the sentiments against metahumans at the time. Still, knowing that he had this ability made him fascinated in the transmundane reality, and he paid attention to both what those individuals were doing and how they were treated. This naturally led to an awareness of the field of "meta-crimes," and a curiosity about it. Little is known about what Ember did between high school and the age of 24 - the person he was, whoever he was, simply vanished. He would come to light again as a private investigator under the name "John Smith," which was less a name than something convenient to put down on the paperwork.
He has earned a decent reputation these past three years as a private investigator, especially for being willing to look into some of the meta-crimes that other private investigators aren't willing to deal with.
Powers: Amelia can clone herself, in fact, she can clone herself up to three times at any given time (for a total of four versions of herself at any given time). These clones begin with her knowledge, memories, and skills and are given tasks. The longer they're around the more independent they become, but for most it will be impossible to tell a clone Amelia from the real thing. These are flesh and blood clones, capable of doing all the things Humans are capable of doing. When they die, or when she summons them back to her and removes them she gains their memories and knowledge.
Most often Amelia uses this ability to provide an alibi for a heist or to gain information. She has at least one clone at any given time, usually somewhere in the city gathering information on some aspect of the criminal underground, which she moves in and out of at her will. The clones cannot be near one another for more than a few minutes at a time without being destroyed, nor can she keep one near her without it eventually being destroyed as well. As such, they make for poor combat aides.
History: Amelia Constanti, or Fractal, is a major thief in the meta human world. She has pulled off heists ranging from the mundane to the significant, usually for her own amusement. She keeps some trinkets as mementos of her favorite jobs and sells the rest. From time to time someone in the criminal underworld will contact her for a job. Her fees are...significant. At her heart though Fractal isn't out to cause true harm, a stolen trinket here, an artifact there, but she's not in the murder business, won't help you sell drugs, and operates with limited weaponry for self defense. She is well trained in martial arts, again for self defense.
