Sensational had faced many a locked building over the course of his long and varied career. This, however, was a foe unlike any other. This establishment unlike any other he had faced before.
The Antichrist's home office, here in Duskburg. He swung past this area and streets a couple times on his patrols. A constant reminder of what he needed to do. An investigation, to see if Kore had been legit when she declared herself to be someone humanity could trust, an ally against the demonic forces that haunted the world. And here she was, opening shop for a monster hunter business. But Jasper read up on the Antichrist, including the scriptures from the Bible surrounding that particular figure. It had a few alarming things to say about the devil on earth, and the spider satirist had a few concerns of his own. While his distrust did not extend to the blatant ignorance or stupidity certain religious groups demonstrated by attacking or harassing this business and its personnel, Jasper also found that a more indirect and smarter approach could glean the information other full-grown adults of a certain degree of intelligence could not acquire. Kore must have kept files or something of significance in that apartment. All he had to do was find it and work off of whatever leads it provided him.
First, he had to stake out the place, mainly by placing a few small, disposable cameras to record the daily schedule and nature of this places and its inhabitants. There were three subjects. Kore Smith, her secretary, and her partner-in-crime. Each enter and left the building at varying hours, but certain patterns had emerged. The most unpredictable of the bunch would have been this new individual that had been brought into the fold. Unless Kore was calling her in at random times, she tended to show up unawares to meet with Kore Smith.
However, if he timed this right and with a little luck on his side, the vigilante detective should be able to slip inside without anyone inside its premises. Everyone should be out and out for a while. The recording devices and cameras on his suit activated with a swift tap of his fingers to his mask as his entire body and costume became invisible, matching his surroundings with no discrepancy or difference.
It was time to move in.
Leaping onto one of the outside walls, closer towards the higher floor's windows, Jasper glanced into and through a few before settling on one in particular. A small shock erupted from his hand, in an effort to use his electromagnetic powers to twist and turn the metal window lock with ease. Laying his palm upon the window and sticking to it, he dragged the window open with a slow upward motion, if he had been successful. His senses would quickly survey the area ahead, see if anyone was inside.
And then he would simply crawl through the window and enter the upper premises after that, observing his surroundings in the meanwhile.
