Bio:
Serving as a soldier in countless conflicts around the world, Alexander AKA Swarm fought while enlisted for the US Army. Early stages in his career are heavily documented - earning himself a reputation of an exemplary soldier. Alexander never defied orders, never argued with superiors and always got his missions done with extreme prejudice. Nothing was too extreme for Alexander; a factor that eventually played into the downfall of his military career. Even with his perfect record all it took was one slip - one mistake to cause his expulsion from the military. During an operation, his handler gave an order that threatened to put the lives of Alexander and his entire unit in danger. Because of this, Alexander for the first time in his whole service refused to carry orders causing the entire operation to fall apart. The lives of his unit were saved but the cost was Alexander being used as a scapegoat for the entire operation… A court martial followed, the only thing saving him was his exemplary record up till that point. Alexander was dishonourably discharged but wasn’t placed under arrest. Out of options, Alexander left and decided not to return home.
Instead, he joined a mercenary outfit. The outfit in question carried out extremely dangerous assignments for high pay - Alexander being uncompromising and morally detached from his years in service fit in perfectly. It was here where he started amassing a small fortune, often spending time in the field for days at a time and staying in accommodation supplied by his employers. It was easy for Alexander to live on the bare minimum. Amassing a fortune and planning to open up his own firm, tragedy struck on a mission securing nuclear material. A detonation went off - Alexander sacrificing his life to save the rest of his squad. Alexander was blown apart, most of his body atomized by the destruction followed afterwards.
By all records - Alexander Knul died that day. But expunged was his revival. Alexander was brought back with Nanomachines, replacing most of his body. Revived with this experimental technology by his Outfit, Alexander felt something had changed. The months in deep sleep activated a new motivation in him, deciding that working for the highest bidder was going to eventually turn his luck sour - he cut away, breaking contract and taking all his funds with him
Now he seeks to open out a firm that focuses on the protection of the innocent, and help those willing to pay for his services.
Powers:
Enchanced Strength:
Swarm has enhanced strength, making him insanely strong. Comparable to Superhuman strength, Swarm could hold up a building with intense strain or easily rip open APC units without any trouble. This makes Alexander dangerous in close quarters fights. His strength also relates to his reflexes, being far superior to humans.
Enhanced Durability:
Swarm’s nanomachine body is extremely durable, as it makes up 86.24% of his body. The Swarm can deflect bullets, blows and even break apart to avoid blows. It does have its weaknesses, as being hit with an EMP blast will render separation impossible - not killing him outright but limiting his body to only rely on his strength and other implements to survive till his body reboots.
Firearms:
Swarm usually carries around an anti-material rifle loaded with explosive rounds. Due to his strength and durability, he is able to fire it with relative ease. He also carries a power pistol, able to shoot through most forms of cover - however this gun is powered by his nanites and will not fire if he is compromised.
Nano-Swarm Body:
The main power of Swarm is his nanomachine body, which is extremely malleable and easy to manipulate. Controlled by a chip embedded in his brain, he can control the swarm to make deadly strong whips and blades from his body. His body also regulates everything, making ‘useless’ forms of biological processes mute. He doesn’t need to eat or breathe, relying on powering his nanomachines on a regular basis to keep him alive. Due to everything being regulated, he also doesn’t biologically age - making him ‘immortal’ in terms of age. He will die however due to physical damage and other factors.
