Appearance: Fairies are one of the smaller races, and Lula stands at 2’6” normally. She can transform into a tiny, shimmering ball of light and energy that’s only a few inches tall, but this form isn’t sustainable for her. In her usual state, she has shimmering, opalescent skin, pure black eyes, and black hair that falls around her ankles. Her wings are similar to a dragonfly’s, gold with pink undertones.

Personality: Lula likes collecting things. Whether that be jewels, secrets, or friends, she goes about gathering her collections with single-minded drive. Difficult to dissuade but easy to distract, she isn’t afraid to be forward with her intentions.
Features: As an artificer, Lula can endow objects with magical properties. She has a few special tools which are capable of more powerful spells, but generally the effects are small or short-lived. As a fairy, Lula can fly, and takes to hovering most everywhere - the wings are mostly for show, though, as she doesn’t seem to actually remember to flap them except for dramatic effect.
Equipment: All the tools of her trade, including small hammers, pliers, chains, and jewels of varying values and sizes. She keeps a collection of throwing darts on hand as well, with intricate designs that correspond to different spells. Though only a few of them are meant for actual harm, she started on the design and stuck to it once she had enough to qualify as a set.
Spells:
A dart inlaid with circles of various sizes, a bright green liquid shining from within a fragile glass compartment - when thrown, douses everything in a line from herself to her target in caustic acid.
A dart decorated with joyful swirls, shifting lights shimmering from the cracks in its metal casing - illuminates the area with bright, multicolored lights which glow more brightly around objects possessing great value or magical properties.
A dart with thin threads of metal wound around it, and a dull tip - capable of mending broken objects or healing small wounds when tapped to the site of the break or injury.
A dart bedazzled with small, shining jewels, and an incredibly sharp tip - when pressed against a rock within which there are gem deposits, will extract the gems. Occasionally, it will also draw in buried coins or ore.
A dart which is difficult to perceive, with a constantly shifting design - when tapped against a person, will camouflage them with their environment for half an hour or until the effect is canceled out. If it is thrown and hits something hidden, it will have the reverse effect, bringing what is hidden into focus. Good luck finding it afterwards, though.
A dart with a simple design, ridged lines across the body of it - cancels out magical effects. A kind of “red reset button.”
Homunculus: Madame Mercy is a mechanical bird which Lula crafted. The bird acts as an assistant to her, and generally has its own free range to work as it sees fit unless she takes the time to command it to do something. Despite its small size, it is capable of carrying heavier weights than Lula herself, and so it often ends up carrying her bag around or acting as another set of hands. Or talons, as it were.
Backstory: Lula was raised in a fairy colony, but was banished after a harmless prank turned much more serious than she intended it to. Since then, the fairy has traveled the world, wandering from place to place until she settled in Praach. At least for the moment, she runs a jewelry booth in the market district, selling lightly enchanted wares alongside more mundane designs.
