Hunter pulled the charging handle of his 553, letting the handle go as he caught a glimpse of brass in the chamber. He reached up and tapped off the maplight, seeing the lights in the distance and speaking, "Close to 600. We're on foot from there." Hunter raised his rifle, aiming out of the winshield, and being unsatisfied with the view 4x gave him, he flipped up his magnifier, shouldering his rifle again, "Intel looks good. Two emplacements flanking the front gate, got two in the central tower. We can probably safely assume that we also have six perimeter guards. Don't see any civilians right now, but they're probably show up pretty quick after we start this party. Plus ones are not authorized." Hunter lowered his rifle, and clicked the fire selector to the third position. He closed his eyes and took a deep breath, clearing his mind for what was to come.
"Copy that," came a heavy Eastern accent over the mic. "I've been aching for a good party!" In the back seat, Sphynx checked over her assault rifle, a well-polished Type-56 with a GP-25 attachment (her favorite personal touch to the weapon), making sure that each part was in working order. It was not often that the trooper would have weapons malfunction in the heat of battle, but one time was stressful enough to warrant a thorough check of her weapons before every engagement. Once the rifle was checked over at least three times, Sphynx set the butt of the rifle down on the floor between her knees and looked out of the window. Dim twinkling lights danced on the horizon. "May Allah protect us," she whispered to herself quietly as she rubbed a small golden necklace in the shape of a crescent moon and a star between her forefinger and thumb. It was a small prayer that aided her confidence before a fight, and so far, it had helped every time she did it.
After a few moments of letting her mind sink into battle-ready mode, Sphynx looked up ahead at their destination. "Are you boys ready to light up some bad guys?" she called out to the others as she shifted in her seat, now sitting up with a grin growing on her face.
Phantom sat laid back in the back seat. Phantom had scouted and conducted physical surveillance of the compound all day before the op in cooperation with the CIA predator drone. Phantom took advantage of the few minutes of quiet. His assault rifle rested across his lap.
Once Hunter racked a round into his gun and Sphynx disassembled her gun multiple times. Phantom had sat up and begun looking out the window in silence, going over the layout of the compound in his mind. Phantom reached into a pouch on his vest retrieving a yellow and blue wrapper of double bubble. He put the gum into his mouth and began to chew slowly. Phantom turned his attention to his own gun and racked a round into the chamber and switching off the safety. Phantom listend to Hunter, "I can cover y'all from the vehicle and take out anyone in the way as you move in. They won't know about the patrols until we're already in the compound. I'll move in after the breach."
Phantom smiled at Sphynx's excitement to start dropping bodies. "Sphynx, drinks on me if you get more than I do." Phantom enjoyed the Pakistani's presence. Several years ago, back in the marine corps, Phantom never would've thought he would be riding into combat with a Czech and a Swiss, especially a Pakistani. And now? Despite only being at NSS for five months, he wouldn't trade these three for anyone.

Jakob sat in his seat, loading his shotgun. He carried numerous types of shells for different purposes, but normally he followed a specific order that worked well for him. In the chamber he had a breacher, followed that by a bean bag and the last shell would be buckshot. He mostly kept to himself on the ride getting mentally prepared for the task at hand. Such operations required to keep a level head, however as they arrived he was pulled out of his meditative state by his comrades. Unfortunately, for him as usual, he had to be a bit of a killjoy.
"Listen, I want to get into the action as much as you guys but remember, we are not supposed to even be here. Try to keep numbers down and pay attention to targets and civilians, there is no need for an international incident for the sake of free beer." Jakob spoke out, mostly directed at Sphynx and Phantom. While he knew he was on a team of elite operators, sometimes things can get carried away.
"Hunter, I have a strong feeling that they are relaxed due to the lack of patrols on the HVT. I think a loud entry would only cause unnecessary problems. May I suggest suppressors until we open the lid on this can?" Jakob mentioned it to Hunter before they started. He saw no use for creating a bigger problem for the group. However for the other two that's probably what they wanted more than anything.
"We could use suppressors, but with supersonic ammo they would be useless, plus I didn't bring any. And in my opinion I think the more engagement the better because when ISIS comes and checks this place out it'll be harder to differentiate the 7.62x39 casings from the 5.56x45 casings. Here." Hunter opened the door as the truck slowed to a stop. He stepped out of the truck, grabbing his shotgun holster from the seat and slinging it over his shoulder. He picked up his earpiece from his shoulder and placed it into his right ear, placing an earplug in the other ear. He rasied his rifle toward the compound, "They haven't noticed us yet. Move out."
"You should try taking that stick out of your ass," Sphynx laughed over the mic. "I'll take you up on that offer, Phantom. But for Pole Cat's sanity, I'll go easy on you. That means you have a better chance this time!" She gave her rifle a gentle pat a couple of times as she carefully listened to Pole Cat and Hunter consider using suppressors. When the truck slowed down and Hunter stepped out with his shotgun, however, a smirk appeared on Sphynx's face. Much to her pleasure, it looked as though this would be louder than what Jakob wanted. He could use a bit more spontaneity in his life, anyways, in her opinion. The Pakistani operative made a fist and gave the roof of the truck two soft thuds of excitement as she stepped out of the side opposite of Hunter, placing the butt of her rifle on the familiar spot and looking through the scope. "Khosh qasmatee bhaion," she murmured in her native tongue as she took behind Hunter's right side. Her eyes focused on the compound for any hostile movement.
Pole Cat always seemed to be a downer. Phantom lived by the statement that you gotta love what you do for a living. And Phantom sure did, just that added bet makes it more fun. However, he wouldnt let the small competition ruin the effectiveness of the team or himself. Phantom smiled once again at Sphynx and dismounted from the vehicle. He grabbed his gear bag from the backseat which contained climbing equipment that would help the operators scale walls. Phantom slung his sniper rifle onto his back as well and walked to stand next to Hunter. The burly American popped his neck, "Alright, let's rock and roll."

Jakob quickly twisted a suppressor on his pdw, even though.no one else was willing to be quiet that did not mean he at least could not try. Everyone was out and ready, with a simple exhale he raised the scorpion and started to move forward, "Ok, I'll head for the door. I will require overwatch incase of being caught out in the open." He said over the comms, hopefully the American could hit something today.
Jakob stuck to the shadows, staying behind various rocks and shrubs. He may not have been wearing anything inherently spy-like, basic knowledge of staying out of sight goes a long way. Finally he managed to set up shop in some dense brush, if he moved any closer the element of surprise would be defeated by machine gun fire and his death. He checked his equipment, breach shotgun, breaching charge, flashbang, and baton. He was ready to get in and kick ass when the time was right. "Okay, I'm ready, if phantom or Sphynx would like to start a fight please keep them from looking my way." Jakob said over comms, ready to pounce.
Hunter watched as Jakob moved away from the group, and when Jakob exited earshot, Hunter closed his hand around his mic, "Leicht zu sagen dass er neu ist." As Jakob continued to move forward, Hunter turned his 553 onto it's side, grabbing hold of the charging handle and pulling it back enough to see brass in the chamber, then let the bolt handle slide back forward. As he heard Jakob's radio call, he responded, "Držte pozici, pohotovostní režim pro další objednávky." Hunter paused for a moment, then pulled the magazine from his 553, pulling another magazine from his vest, connecting the two magazines together then sliding the magazine back in. He looked to his side to Phantom, then to Sphynx, and spoke, "Ma yakirb minn thlatha wokhemsin." Hunter looked forward then began walking directly toward the compound, finally unfolding the stock of his Sig. "
Phantom smiled, covering his mic, "Er wird darüber hinwegkommen." Phantom propped his sniper rifle up on its bipod on the hood of the vehicle. He watched Pole Cat dance his way to the gate through the scope. "Pole Cat, hug the wall!" Phantom lined a shot up on a tower guard above Pole Cat. Phantom depressed the trigger of the silenced rifle. The bullet ripped through the neck of the guard just below jaw and severed the brain stem. The man was dead before he fell. Which fortunately, he fell over the rail and landed not 2 feet from Pole Cat. "We have almost a minute before the 1st perimeter patrol makes it back around the compound. I'm moving up."
Phantom slung his sniper onto his back and grabbed his assault rifle that leaned against the bumper. Looking at Sphynx and Hunter, "See y'all up there." Phantom, taking after his callsign, blended with the shadows, moving fluidly and quietly in the darkness until he reached the shadow of the wall beside Pole Cat. Phantom put his back against the wall and motioned for the others to move up then turned to Pole Cat. "Alright Kitten, listen up. Once the others get here, you and Sphynx will eliminate the two perimeter patrols then evacuate any civvies from the mess hall. During this, Hunter and I will disable the two MG nests and kill the guard in tower 2, then disable the power to provide you and Sphynx the cover of darkness before you move from the mess hall. We rendezvous at the couthouse entry to building 1" Phantom checked his watch, "Power goes out in 6 minutes, so meet your marks. Good luck, brother."
(I can't translate the second phrase that Hunter said for some reason lol)
"Can't promise anything," Sphynx joked as Pole Cat asked for her and Phantom to keep their side of the fighting away from him. She took the rear position, watching the top of the wall carefully through her sights to monitor the guards. As Phantom called out one of the guards on the wall, the Pakistani scanned the other ends of the wall to keep an eye on anyone else that might appear. Fortunately for them, no one did. Phantom took the insurgent down and moved to the surface like a shadow. That's one for Phantom, Sphynx murmured to herself. Gotta keep up. She waited for Phantom to give a signal before quietly moving up, the butt of her rifle against her shoulder and the barrel aimed at the ground. Sphynx kept her shoulders to the wall as she came up behind the other two, listening carefully to the plain being laid out.
Sphynx gave a silent nod in affirmation as Phantom gave them a time to keep track of. She patted Phantom's shoulder twice as she moved past him to get to Pole Cat. "Try not to have too much fun without me," she joked as she stood next to Pole Cat, jerking her head in the direction they were to go. "Lead the way, boss. We've got a party to ruin."
