Somewhere on the outskirts of Millennium City, away from the commotion of the central area, lies a clinic surrounded by carefully-maintained greenery. Hope's Garden was the first name founder Alvis Holt thought of for the place, although nowadays he's likely to admit it's a bit on the nose. The clinic offers psychotherapy and other related services to those who need it- be it for typical purposes, or for the specific issues they specialise in. These issues are, to put it shortly, anything to do with metahumans, the supernatural, and anything else that's similarly outside the norm. Those affected by the attacks of supervillains, those seeking advice regarding struggles with their own metahuman identity, and many other issues that other places may be ill-equipped to handle, Hope's Garden is able to help with. Not everyone who works there is a metahuman, of course. There are a few, and the founder is one himself, but there are also a fair number of non-powered individuals, should patients request to see one.
As for the clinic itself, it is predictably quite welcoming and well-furnished. The interiors are bright, the windows let in plenty of natural light, and the individual offices are warm and comforting. There are a few oil paintings scattered on the walls, supposedly painted by Alvis in his off-time, and these are mostly of plants. As for the titular garden, it is accessible through the back exit of the clinic, and parts of it can serve as a second waiting room in summer, or just as a pleasant view.
It goes without saying that everyone who works at Hope's Garden holds themselves to incredibly high ethical standards, and the place is subject to the same regular inspections that anywhere else would be.
