Mellow Moon was born to an ordinary family. Her father worked in a tinkerer's workshop, her mother had been a wet nurse. tasked with taking care of children whose mothers were oftentimes too weak to take of their newborns. It was a job of some renown in the small community that she grew up in. Mellow was never an outgoing child. She loved playing with the oftentimes broken things her father brought down from the workshop. That didn't mean they were completely useless though. It built enough of a curiosity in her that she could be seen on the floor or on her bed with a screwdriver, just dismantling the whole thing in her attempt to fix it.
PERSONALITY:-
Despite an introverted nature, Mellow is easily provoked, and quick to use fists rather than words. Not good with her words but definitely feisty with her hands and legs. This though resulted in her being even more lonely, and sometimes the subject of bullying by kids stronger than herself. Once she returned home with a bloody nose and a bruised cheek, she'd been in a fight, but brushed it off as having fallen down a slope. Her parent's single most concern for Mellow is that she will walk an irredeemable life unlike they themselves. They tried talking to her but the more they did, the more reclusive she became, the more distrustful of her parents Mellow became. She became convinced they wanted to control her life, to keep her chained and mold her according to society's standards. The young girl believed her parents would never allow her to pursue her dreams and so, she desperately wanted to leave her home.
Part of the reason why she did so well in her studies was for just such an opportunity. No doubt she was very excited upon being accepted to the Jade Seal Academy for non-magical girls. They offered boarding but she knew for certain she'd have to work to earn a living in order to support herself from here on out.
(Miko is on the taller side, but still about average height. She likes to put her hair up into cute hairstyles, and is rarely seen without a friendly smile on her face. She has black hair and brown eyes, and tries to accessorize as much as she can get away with without breaking school dress codes.)
Brief Bio: It’s always been Miko’s dream to be a famous idol. As a little girl, she dreamed of pretty outfits and synchronized dances and friendship found up on the big stage. Or out in the fields of battle against the forces of darkness! Magical girls are kind of like idols, too, except they get to fight stuff.
However, despite her fantastical ideals, her talents just aren’t quite there. She’s too clumsy to be a dancer, her voice is pretty but not exactly award-winning, and she doesn’t have any powers.
Not yet, anyways.
Every agency wants idols who are magically pretty and poised, with voices that can enchant and built-in special effects. So, until she miraculously gets super cool powers and wins her one-way ticket to stardom, Miko has to go to school somewhere. Enter: The Jade Seal Academy for Non-Magical Girls.
Hey, it’s not all bad. At least this way she can start building her fanbase from the ground up. Friends. She means friends.
