Three weeks
It took three weeks. For the psonic human, formerly known as Subject 16, to get to somewhere of importance. Three weeks of stealing, thieving and hitchhiking from Nevada to here - it was clear he was leaving a trail, but they hadn’t picked up on him yet. With a sigh, he’d just keep walking… Staggering at this point, slowly approaching the city.
He looked weak right now. Three weeks of constant travel would probably knock a normal human out of the game for a while - not Psi. He wasn't a normal human, hell... Was he even human at this point? Either way, he was weak, but not out… Not right now, anyway. Since the lab, he had been on the run; hoping that following the trail all the way to a heavily dense city. Something he'd be able to hide in, he knew the the government lackies chasing him couldn't find him in a city like -
New York City.

With a sigh, he’d just stumble his way toward the city; looking worse for wear. He hadn’t had a decent night's sleep in a while, and hadn’t had a change of clothes since the lab. On the way, he’d steal water and food; both to keep him standing, and to wash the dirt off his face but there wasn’t much he could do for his formally pristine white clothes. After a couple stumbling steps, he’d just stop; slipping his way into an alley as he started seeing figures of people walking around the city and the like.
He’d slump down in the alley, sighing a bit - shifting his clothes around. The sleeve ripped, but his right arm was completely wrapped in bandages. Once he tapped into his powers, he’d be setting off a beacon wherever he went. His mark was everywhere on the trail leading to the city, and he didn’t doubt the most obvious fact - Anyone with even the slightest ability to detect psionic power would know he had arrived to the city. Whether it be a faint tingle, or a sheer mass of twisted power giving someone a headache, he knew that his power was strong but unrestrained. It seeped from him wildly, even when he tried to suppress it.
“Once the genie is out of the bottle, there’s no putting it back… That's what that annoying scientist used to say, and it would seem he was very correct about that assessment.”
The man would mutter to himself, musings he had been saying to himself since he left the lab. Truely, the world above him was wonderful but he learned quickly he had to make a place for himself. Thus, the city shined like a beacon to him; he would become something here, not too sure of what yet… But his own person, not Subject 16.
Sighing, he’d look at his arm - peaking below the surface of bandages to see the inky darkness taking his arm and wrapping around it. Refusing to let go. The… Parasite? As the doctors referred to it as. It never travelled higher than his shoulder, but now that he had tapped into his powers it had his right hand firmly in lock. Whether this was a bad or good thing, he couldn’t tell… Maybe he could try and talk with it?
Not right now though, he needed to hang low - so he would walk towards the exit to the alley and peer out; looking for any places he could steal a fresh pair of clothes from before he gathered unwanted attention.

- Changed location to NYC.
- Anyone can interact with Psi, open completely.
- A general introduction, really.
