People in this world often spoke of Tyrannosaurs as either opportunistic scavengers or apex predators. Most of the first came from a group of people that believed or followed a man who had a bone to pick with the popularity of the T-Rex. In truth, they were both, and so too was the far more advanced Novus Tyrannosaurid. X often launched herself as headlong into combat as everyone else here had been doing, but not always. Sometimes it was best to understand, to learn, and to wait for the right opportunity.
She found Conquest making a stand in an off chamber, a small room that served as a halfway decent means of self defense, so long as you were ok with being unable to retreat. She spun her blazing hot gun barrel lazily in her hand, predatory eyes watching every movement within the room. At last she saw an opportunity. Conquest was being attacked from multiple sides and engaged in a grapple with the card wielding woman. In the same moment the card wielder made her attack, X made one.
The attack came with a burst of speed, closing the distance between herself and the fight in the intake of a breath. She brought the gun barrel around and sought to drive it up through Conquest's side, just below the rib cage with an upward thrust that would see it drive through lungs and heart alike. The barrel was sharp thanks to being torn from the gun, and raging hot. Flesh and blood would burn instantly on contact. She tried to judge her thrust appropriately so as not to shove the barrel out the other side. No, she wanted it to stick deep inside the woman's chest and cauterize organs and flesh around it.
It probably wouldn't kill her, but it would cause constant damage and be extremely difficult for someone with average human strength to remove without surgery.
