There's something to be said for sending someone hurtling through the air with a punch that never landed. And Kore watched as the witch went ragdolling through the air. In response, Kore merely extended an arm and snapped her fingers.
A void orb opened in Silvaria's trajectory and caught her before she could crash into anything. Her world would turn to darkness- an infinite expanse where that afforded her little more than a warm breath- before the blur of reality returned and she found herself landing somewhat gently face first on the moist morning grass. If she looked up, she'd catch sight of Carmen. And, out of the periphery of her vision, the devil would slowly walk into view.
And offer her a hand to help her get back onto her feet.
It wasn't an offer that she'd have made to most that she trained with here at the gym, but she had to consider just who she was working with here. An aspiring wizard who wanted to see just what her boss was capable of, and the person who'd been at her side all these years while she built herself up to who she was today. I mean, let's be honest...
What's the point of working so hard all these years if you can't celebrate your progress?
She took a step back and offered the witch the floor.
"Show off."

"I think I'd like to offer you a choice, here, Silvaria. I'm going to test you either way, but I'm curious," a dramatic pause, wholly intentional, "Would you like to see some of my more high-level 'sorcery'?"

"Don't worry, though. In this context, at least, 'high-level' doesn't mean more dangerous or grander in scale. It simply means just that. More advanced. More complex. Something that I think a wizard like yourself would appreciate, in particular. But, it's your choice. I won't go easy on your either way. So, what do you say?"
She took a step back and offered the witch the floor.
"You wanna see something wild?"
