And boof he goes. Julien fell for the good ol' shoulder throw. Somehow landed on his face too. Mary have been on both the giving and receiving ends of that move, but Ms Aya's form was spotless. This coach was no joke, and any telegraphed, fully committed punches will not work. Of course, Mary didn't think of these in exact words. Her "analysis" were more instinctive, and she came to the same conclusion that brute strength will only get her face planted. She's gonna need to be fast against this technical fighter instead of being strong. You can't counter what you can't see coming.
Mary wasn't standing still while she took all of this into account. She was just a few pace behind Julien, ready to follow up. Although Ms. Aya turned her back towards Mary after giving Julien the shoulder throw, the hot blooded girl could feel that the coach was fully aware of her. Even her comments about the boy being the better of the two fighters seems to be goading her as well.
"I'm the best outta the two of course!"
Ms Aya practically spun in place to face Mary the instant Mary's kick was halfway towards the coach's face. This would have startled her if she wasn't expecting it. Mary expected it, however, and transitioned her roundhouse into a hook-kick midway with an agility that she was known for.
The next thing she saw was Julien's stupid face on the ground next to her. Boof.
What.
It seemed that Mary had left her other leg wide open and the coach just had to trip her. Ms Aya totally saw it all coming. Also, somehow Mary landed on her face.
Tsubasa withdrew her hand with a chuckle, looking up as the girl's voice came from above instead of where she was a second ago. "Whoo, aren't you fast? Shame that I'm gonna have to pass. Need you down here to help catch the coach, and now that I've seen you work, you've gotta be fast enough to help out." As she said that, Tsubasa gathered her senses, and took control of the dripping Red around her hand. Flexing it like a third arm, she reached up and up, the blood forming a dripping, spindly appendage that ended in thin claws.
Grasping onto a branch nearby where the other girl had zipped up to, she tried pulling herself up, only to be rewarded with a creak as the claw dug into the branch, her body barely feeling lighter from the lift. "No good, I can't get up there. Dunno why you can't get down here though!" Saying that, she reached over to the very branch that blondie stood on. Breaking it with surprising speed, she waited for her to either zip down or fall down.
"Really don't think that's a good - ohwoahwoahgod, okay," Maggie stammered as Tsubasa tried to climb up the tree - only to be rewarded with a very foreboding creak. Feet scrambling against the trunk, she tried to push herself as close to where the bough connected with the tree as possible, grip tightening and knuckles whitening.
"Well, it can't hold us both," she said, trying to give a placating grim and settling for a pleading grimace. "I'll get myself down eventually, and - wait, what are - WAH!"
In one swift motion, Tsubasa yanked the branch. The end splintered. Maggie plummeted - but only for a moment, before another pop sent her sprawling on the ground a good ten feet behind Tsubasa, dazed but otherwise unhurt. She got shakily to her knees, brushed the leaves and dirt off her outfit, then tried - and failed - to level out her now-tangled hair.
"You're - Ipth - er - ya - you could've hurt me!" she spluttered, more incredulous than angry. A large maple leaf nestled right behind her ear, untouched by her meager attempt to bring order back to her hair, bobbed for emphasis.
Yesterday, upon the stair, I met a man who wasn't there! He wasn't there again today, Oh how I wish he'd go away!
"Guuuuh...." Head spinning around and round. Julien with a staggered fashion, found his balance onto his feet.
"It's real easy to say you're the best when the bar is way above your ahead." Coach wiped sweat off from her hands onto her attire, shaking her head." If I would've known it would be this easy, I would've stayed in bed."
That did it.
"Easy!? We're just getting started!!!!" Julien's face reddened. Once again charging head on for the over confident opponent. Readying a cocked back power punch, Coach prepared herself to deflect the attack once again. However this was different. Using momentum as an advantage what would be a thrown punch shifted to him tucking his arm close. His strong muscles pushed off his back leg sending himself forward; his entire upper arm enveloping in a solid dark gray tint.
"Try an block my Iron Bull Charge! I dare ya!"
Coach was a little surprised. Opting for a shoulder a bash instead of committing to the punch? Less stupid but hey points for guts, and he was confident too. These two were definitely going to be fun to break this year. All it took from her end was a single foot pivot and his carried movement did the rest. Blocking the brunt was an option. An even more interesting idea came to mind however. An evil glint showed itself in her eye.
That aroma....adrenaline....over there, thickest....follow.
Catching himself with a roll, it was already too late. With her incredible speed Coach was already behind Julien. Crouched low with a contorted grin of pure devilishness could amass. Like an Oni had possessed her. Both hands in a peculiar position at the ready. The Tiger sign. Her arms shot up aiming for his most vulnerable point. Poor fool, he was dead before he could even realize. The strike was precise as it was forceful. Once landing, a surge of feelings shot through Juliens body in many ways. Next, a blood curdling scream that only a banshee could muster. It spread about the entire forest and probably to one of the other islands. Being launched a good meter up, it was clear he was gonna be out of commission for a little bit once rag-dolling onto the ground. That evil grin on Coaches face only emboldened.
"Hehehehe....one down, six to go..."
- - -
A blood curdling scream? Someone caught it. This Coach propped herself up from the tree." I forgot my jacket." She grinned." So who's going to initiate? If this were a real situation you'd already be dead." Both hands were placed firmly in her pocket, a faint cheery jingle responding with. "Cmon do something. Whether it be wild , stupid or outright genius do something." - - -
The forest, is often a place to go when seeking silence and solace. To escape the chaos of people. But the voices you hear are much more audible. We wants it boy....you know 'we' wants it...you can smell it too....it fresh....
"Just shut up." The lone wanderer muttered. They've been much more aggravated, it would soon be time to get them something before they rampaged once again. Perhaps a deer or bear would appear and soon. The whispers became much more vigorous. They try to guide him, resisting grew ever more difficult, the temptation becomes too strong. A scream? Could someone be getting attacked by an animal? Perfect. He sprinted in its direction. Maneuvering through the brush and around trees effortlessly. He could feel the numbing sensation already begin to take effect... it's much faster this time.
CLOSE!!!!!!!
Hopping through a bush a grave mistake was made as he came across the sight of two people by a tree. A girl and a "boy". But that wasn't the trigger. It was the sight. The thing that makes it go mad....Blood. Shit! Without warning a black substance ejected out of the boys back like a wing. Violently contorting, twisting and forming fang like shapes launching itself at the two.
"PRECIOUS!!! " It cried out in a bloodthirst full shriek. The boy grabbed the end, though his attempt at halting was useless.
Coach propped herself up from the tree." I forgot my jacket." She grinned." So who's going to initiate? If this were a real situation you'd already be dead." Both hands were placed firmly in her pocket, a faint cheery jingle responding with. "Cmon do something. Whether it be wild , stupid or outright genius do something."
"You forgot your jacket?" Iris' face crumpled, filled with genuine-looking concern. "I haven't seen it, but it must be around here somewhere."
She flipped her mask so that the front faced the Coach, exposing the fresh-grown eyes on the other side as she closed one of her own. Half her vision switched to a much lower position, and she focused it on the leaning figure in the distance, attempting to activate her gimmick's paralysis effect. If I can just keep her from moving for a few seconds...
"And once we find it, we could go looking for the others! Very irresponsible of them to just run off like that. And inconsiderate," she continued without pause, as if she wasn't in the middle of attacking their instructor.
“The only thing that ever stopped me being exactly who I wanted,” she said, “was the worry that I would soon be dead … and now I am dead, and I am sick of roses, and I am horny for revenge.” -Harrow the Ninth, by Tamsyn Muir

"Hehehehe....one down, six to go..."
What.
What did the coach just do?
Mary was sure what she saw constitute a sexual harassment. That move breaks so many sportsmanship and fair fighting rules, no, it is something not ANY decent human being would even try to pull off. This wasn't a sparring match with rules but THAT'S JUST NOT OKAY. Someone should call a cop on this pervert!
If the coach turns toward Mary, she would not see the fiery girl who was trying to kick the school's coach a few seconds ago. Instead, she would see a very on edge, adrenaline-high teenager ready to pull all the stops and kill to survive. She was in a full-defensive, minimum opening martial arts stance. Her face was pale and her eyes wide, Mary was not scared for her life, but she was scared for her dignity. What Julien just suffered was worse than death... it was a thousand death. "Y-you pervert!" was all she could muster up. Mary no longer decided to try to get a hit in, as this was not a sparring match, it never was. Someone had to hear that blood-curdling scream though. She had to somehow not let her backside be open to Ms. Aya, and hopefully her classmate would have caught up before she fell pray to it.
Unknown to Mary herself, this extremely traumatizing turn of event was making her Gimmick manifesting big-time. While Mary slowly took a few small steps back and circled around Ms Aya, attempting to approach the twitching victims of that move while keeping distance. Although she was ever so careful to maintain her balance, she almost tripped on a tree root. Almost, because as her feet got caught in the branch, the branch was cut in half and gave way to Mary's bare feet. Mary did not notice this of course.
“Yeah, yeah, yeah.” Yuuki dismissively waved her hand in the air as Coach spoke. How much time did the others need to get ready? She could hear the girl with the mask also speak so she wished they could have figured out some sort of simple signal. Didn’t matter now. Yuuki rolled her shoulders as she kept her gaze leveled on Coach. Focus on what she needed, Coach’s hands were in her pockets, and she could hear the bells. Coach would be the better fighter, and she was faster, but Yuuki had a singular goal.
And support.
Yuuki drew in a breath and pushed away her doubt. The girl with the mask mentioned finding Coach’s jacket. Now. Yuuki’s body sprang forward. Which pocket? She shifted left as she closed the distance.
//... into the dark she stepped, but never did she feel free of the gaze...//
Tsubasa looked down at her new companion, who was now sputtering at her and fixing herself. "Oh come on princess, you're fine now, aren't you? I believe in you." That was a lie, she just wanted to see what would happen. "Now, if you're done getting yourself back in order, we have to--"
"PRECIOUS!!!"
The shriek cut through Tsubasa's thoughts like a scalpel. She twisted her head in the direction of the sound, only to see a black substance shoot out of the forest and at her. Not Good. Not Good! Jumping back, she hit the ground and scrambled onto her hands and feet. She turned to take a good look at whatever just screeched at her. Pulling the blood from her third arm away from the branch, she fashioned it into a set of sharp blades with a flick of her wrist, putting them between herself and this unknown attacker. "Too close! Hell, the Forest of Pain wasn't named that for show, then. What's your deal?"
Finally giving up on making her hair settle, Maggie relaxed, offering Tsubasa a quirked smile. She was still a little on edge - they were controlling blood, and that was decidedly unnerving - but the girl's calm words and reassurances helped her untense. People didn't choose their gimmick, after all. Was rude to judge people for it.
"You're right. Sorry," she murmured, nodding quickly. "I -"
Tsubasa spoke at the same time as her, and she stopped, then a third voice decided to interrupt as well. A voice that just so happened to be screaming PRECIOUS! in a tone that sounded far from friendly. Maggie popped.
When she reappeared several feet to the left, the newcomer was already rushing into the clearing, black tendrils extending outwards towards Tsubasa. Her heart leapt into her throat, and she popped again, this time reappearing a meter or so behind Tsubasa, partially shielded by the tree she had almost fallen from a few minutes before. Her papa had wanted to get her a gun, when he and mama had sent her here. She wasn't that keen on the idea. Guns were loud, and loud things were scary. It hadn't really been an issue, anyway, seeing as the gun had been seized in customs as part of the ongoing investigation, but she almost kind of wished it hadn't been, here. Not because she was gonna use it, of course. That thought made her stomach twist in knots. But - it would've made her feel a bit more safe. Glancing at the ground, she picked up a nearby rock instead, knuckles whitening as she tightened her grip around the sharp edges. Then, she moved up - still behind the tree - and peeked around, cautiously glancing between Tsubasa and the newcomer.
She's got it under control, she thought, and decided to stay put, but not before giving a warning to anyone who might decide to come her way.
"Pervert!?" Coach squealed. Her face, a vibrant bright red as sweat droplets began to form on her forehead." I-I am no such thing young lady!!!" Her voice cracked letting out an almost falcon like squawk rather than a human voice. Her knees wobbled as she turned away from Mary with Julian's limp body twitching sporadically blurred in the background." If one would so recklessly leave themselves open...then its perfectly valid!" Coach approached the scene of the crime, standing over Julian with her arms crossed looking pleased with herself. Back to Mary.
"Just look at him, it brings a smile on my face when a meathead goes down so easy." Coach pulled out the bell from her pocket, paying no mind to the very minute sting at her finger tips on contact. They jingled happily as she shook them with the taunting stature of a child. "But don't worry, you'll join him soon enough." Her gaze slowly drifted over the shoulder. Just daring Mary to try and take it.
Finally...
It happened quickly. The once limp boy managed to prop himself up with cat-like-agility, and sweeping Coaches leg from under. "You fell for it!" Julians voice cracked a single tear escaping the corner of an eye.
"Huh....I get it..." The feeling of weightlessness. She was trapped in her thoughts even while hitting the ground, clutching onto the bell tightly." He used his Gimmick at the moment of impact...can't believe I fell for such a silly thing..."
Finally an opportunity! A moment to strike. Julians gaze went over to his partners. Hoping she got the signal. ======
Elsewhere in the forest...
Coach readied herself. Waiting for the three to make their move, after all, she had all day. So what exactly were they going to do? " C'mon brats, do something!" Her impatience was soon rewarded as the masked one charged first. The first fool. Her fingers slowly curled, into fists ready to counter attack when suddenly......"The hell?! I can't move!" No matter how hard she struggled, Coach couldn't find a way to break the paralyzing effect. The second one charged right after too. "Shit! This certainly is a surprise, didn't think someone would be able to nullify me so easily in this class." As Iris and Yuuki both got dangerously close Coach grinned. Looks like there was no other option, the jig was up, and so soon disappointingly. Her bodies color shifted and dulled to an almost clay like brown. There was no longer skin, but something mimicking their 'instructor'.
"Dand-ruff Flake Bomb!" An unrecognizable voice shouted, muffled from within. Instantaneously it combust into a thick brown cloud of what could be assumed dirt. " Movement freedom! But for how long? Better recuperate."
Within the cloud, a figure could be seen jumping to a tree and scaling up the trunk with spider like speed. Disappearing into the treetops, although the jingles of the bell could still be heard. They weren't running away but they also weren't remaining in a single spot for too long.
"Say, that's a neat little trick you've got there. Definitely caught me off guard." This new voice, this new person. Definitely a girl of some kind. She was circling, hopping from the different branches of the tall trees careful to avoid line of sight.
"Hmmm...Coach said I can't run off from them, I 'have' to engage. But that paralysis is gonna be a pain in the ass." She stopped suddenly, although the jingle of the bells spared any sense of stealth they would prefer. "And I still got no idea what the others are capable of. What a drag indeed, these chumps couldn't just not be annoying could they? I've got to deal with that paralysis somehow....all I know, it's that girl with the mask most likely... what an interesting conundrum indeed."
BINGO AN IDEA!!!!
"So you kids wanna just give up already, make my job easier? I've got you in checkmate."
The girl ripped a few strands of her own hair holding them firmly between her fingers. ======
No...not again!!!
It charged with ferocity, and bloodlust! He expected them to die, like all the others....but they didn't. One seemingly exited out of reality and reappeared not too far away and the other managed to dodge moments before. Whatever would have happened will remain a mystery. As the two recuperated themselves, the boy used his only free hand to clutch onto the nearest trunk and dug his nails deep within the base. Pulling back trying to pull it away from the two.
"I-I'm sorry!" The boy cried out in response to Tsubasa. The black mass contorted into various shapes until deciding to rest on what could be close to serpent like. "We......wants....we....must....haves....." the mass growled. The "head" of it trailing the sight of blood being manipulated to one spot. "You.....steal from us...." the voice shook and its form attempted to drift forward. Being delayed by the brute strength of its host. His grip strong, wouldn't be enough to hold for very long. "Run!" He shout. Pulled forward, fighting him, slowly weakening the grip. "You steal....we wants....you steal...we wants..." it had been fixated on just this one person.
With all the might in the world, it couldn't stop a nice sharp splinter from dug into his hand. For most people it'd be a reason to call the hospital, but for him the sting wasn't enough to get a reaction. The mass readied itself to charge at both of the girls when it wailed out in an eerie shriek, slightly retreating backwards and closer to its host.
“Woah!” Yuuki kicked back, bringing her arms up to protect her eyes against the sudden blast of dirt. The coach crumpled into dust as a figure bounced away into the branches of the tree above. What in the hell. That voice had been different too, hadn’t it? Someone who could mask themselves as a different person using their gimmick? That was freaky. Granted she now knew someone who could turn into a car so something about glass houses and stones.
Yuuki frowned as the new girl hopped from branch to branch. The girl with the mask had clearly done something to make the fake coach freeze in place, so this was her countermeasure? Granted, this would also make the masked girl more of a target right? Her own gimmick wouldn’t be useful without someone backing her up so she definitely needed to make herself the bigger target.
“You keep saying that.” Yuuki said, turning the full force of her gaze up at the girl as she bounced around the treetop. She could hear the faint jingling of the bells as well, but were those the ones they needed if that wasn’t really Coach? “But so far all you’ve done is jump around and get my uniform dirty.” She brushed some dirt off her shoulders.
“So if you’re about done we’d like to go find the hotheads who just ran off on their own.” Yuuki said with a sigh, her sharp gaze lingering on the girl. Did she just yank something out of her hair?
//... into the dark she stepped, but never did she feel free of the gaze...//
With the mass' unearthly shriek, Maggie let out a shriek of her own, disappearing and reappearing - beside Tsubasa. In a blind panic, the frazzled girl tossed her rock in the direction of the boy's head, then immediately started running in the opposite direction.
"C-come on!" she shouted, perfectly willing to take the boy's advice. "He said t-to run!"
Yesterday, upon the stair, I met a man who wasn't there! He wasn't there again today, Oh how I wish he'd go away!
"You're just not getting it!" The new girl cackled. The strands of hair straightened to thin needle-like points." This is the exercise dweeb! Your little hot headed friends are probably already being pounded into pulps by Coach." The girl launched the needles into the forest floor. Her hands connected creating a simple shape. "So focus on yourselves right now and get this damn bell from me!"
The strands released a small static shock before combusting! Letting out clusters of tinier needle like hairs all over! Hair Needle Bomb
They weren't fatal by any means. At most it'd be like falling into a cactus if you decided to tank.
---
He could feel the grip loosening despite it reeling back. Pain. More splinters were digging into the boys flesh and his high tolerance was starting to wane. He turned his head towards the hopefully retreating pair. It was in that moment he caught a rock straight into the forehead! THWACK! It was a good adrenaline fueled throw. Right in between the eyes! His head reeled back lifelessly and all that could be seen were the whites of his eyes.
The shape receded back with ugly shrieks and wails. Clawing at ground and trees. Being forcefully dragged into his body behind a now scabbed gash on his arm.
For now whatever creature that had been, was gone.
Maggie stopped, pausing to wrap her arm around a nearby tree - more to balance her shaking knees than anything else. Her eyes flitted between Tsubasa and the now-unconscious boy, then she began to slowly walk forward, picking up a stick off the ground and reaching out to poke the boy in the side.
"Is he - is he dead?" she asked, voice hollow. "I'm too young to go to prison. Oh my God, but it was self-defense, right? Tsubasa, tell me that was self-defense. You'd be a - w-witness, that's how those things work, I've seen a lot of criminal trials and there's a-always a key witness that testifies for the defendant and g-gets the case thrown out, and it's e-even better this time because I d-d-don't have to pay you because it w-was obviously self-defense."
She noticed the boy breathing, and gave a momentary sigh of relief.
"H-he's not dead."
Then she froze.
"Oh my god, he's not dead. That m-means he can sue. Should we - should we finish th - finish the job?"
Yesterday, upon the stair, I met a man who wasn't there! He wasn't there again today, Oh how I wish he'd go away!

Mary wasn't going to think about why Julian was suddenly ok after being sexually harassed. Somehow he took the coach by surprise, and that was the only thing that mattered at that moment. The perverted coach lost her perverted footing, and a pervert deserves to be stepped on. Stepped on with a lot of force, preferably with a lot of momentum carrying that leg, and right at the solar plexus for maximum damage.
So Mary immediately sprung forward like a cat and performed a front flip in a smooth, vicious motion with well practiced form. Her right foot lifted high as she spun, and when her body stopped spinning suddenly after she landed her left foot, it seemed as if all of her momentum was channeled into her right heel. It was a front-flip axe kick that would dent a steel, and probably would break the user's leg too... unless said user has some form of pressure manipulating ability.
Very, very telegraphed. Its a bad tactical choice against someone as experienced as the coach. Absolutely perfect tactical choice against anyone who just got sweeped off their legs after inappropriately sticking fingers up a highschooler's nether region and gloated about it.
