Yay, finally finished Jerkface code. Actually writing in the shit was surprisingly annoying because it kept breaking. At least now it's obvious why I've been calling it Jerkface code.
Brian is a douchebag.
Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaand I just realised I've spent, like, eight hours on it or something today...
Means editing it for the other important people in Alex's life will be tomorrow.
[Nospaces] I'm glad you think so!!! It took forever to get right. Did you know that having multiple float:right divs on top of each other does not like to work? Because I didn't until the part where Alex sent three texts fucked up. And did you know there's a tag called span, for inline coding stuff sort of stuff
like this
? Because I found out about that at the same I found out that while it seems like it's easier, editing stuff with divs involved in the preview pane is not a good idea. [break] [break] Little rant over, lol. [break] [break] I was thinking of maybe putting (a blank version of) this in the div templates thread. Not sure though, because of how annoying it can be. And also because it's mine and I am incredibly proud of it. [break] [break] (editing this because i have learned that while it works in the preview pane, span does not work properly when posted without nospaces)
oh span sounds super useful!!! ive been having some trouble with display:inline lately, maybe span will help with that!
and theres no pressure to put your code in the templates thread. ive got a couple of things i really like but will not inflict upon the world because of how, uh.. fragile they are. sometimes its nice to have code for yourself
Yeah, true. I was just thinking because it'd be cool for other people to use it as well because it is very awesome code that I wouldn't mind actually sharing with peoples. I guess I'll decide once I've done more stuff with it, lol.
