Graduated 2003 from Stanford University, B.S. in Psychology with studied focused minor in Criminology; achieved magna cum laude honors upon graduation. Achieved PhD in Psychology and MSC in Criminology thereafter, entering workforce as a criminal and security consultant for a total of 5 years. Eventually began focus upon Mutant Criminology, a recently-accredited degree path regarding Criminal Justice at Stanford; achieved doctorate in aforementioned degree based on submission on metahuman activity theory theses. Found consultation work under Cold Solutions for two years thereafter.
Shortly after leaving employment under Frederick Cane, Andrew McCormack was approached by the Department of Homeland Security based on his expertise in the emerging national security threat known as metahumans. McCormack was employed under the DHS within the U.S. Mutant Alien Civility Enforcement [MACE] offices for specific consultation regarding metahuman security threats, as well as psychological profiles of various logged "superheroes" and "supervillains".
Andrew finds current employment under these offices and has published multiple books and scientific journals, including various articles that have been included within the Annual Review of Psychology.
Born October 20th, 1982. Miami, Florida. Born to a household of 4 different children; graduated with high marks from Jonathan Ortiz Miami High School and was promptly accepted into Stanford's psychology degree track.
While in school, Andrew demonstrated a valiant work ethic. Earned the nickname "Deathroll" due to Floridian origins and determined personality. Marked avoidance of conflict and passive personality despite his tenacity.
"Once he's got his jaws in something, he doesn't let go."
Though Drew displays a tenacity and dedication to his job, he also possesses a largely detached outlook on most current affairs, instead choosing to absorb himself in his work and analyses. Other evaluators have noted that he possesses a degree of nervousness when placed in discouraging situations and bends slightly under pressure, though he has also been noted to showcase the opposite. For most day to day activities, however, McCormack is largely shifty and prone to avoid confrontation-- a temperament that leaves him largely suited to desk jockey tasks, or work within an office. Field work could be considered a substantial risk, given Drew's reaction to violence. As such, the typical format with McCormack's evaluations includes two persons-- an interviewer, and McCormack himself, often isolated to allow for undisturbed analysis.
Recently, however, Drew has begun to conduct evaluations alone.
