If you hit me with an @ when you join the server I can give you the RP role in there so you'll be able to access the Abandoned City channel. My username there is also illirica. See you there!
Powers: • Shape-shifting - They can alter their appearance at will, potentially mimicking others or whatever else they can imagine. Does not work on clothes nor can it drastically affect their size.
• Illusion Manipulation - Seren specializes in creating visual illusions that are used to trick others or alter the perceived reality for anyone caught within the illusions. Auditory illusions are far more difficult for them as they aren't focused on training this part of their ability.
Personality: Filled with the delusions of superiority, they are quick to belittle and single out the inferior traits of others. Seren toes the line of what could be considered cruel and outright awful, though. Anything that crosses the line would certainly harm how others may perceive them as opposed to their intentions of a simple display of dominance.
Seren isn't completely disillusioned with themself, however, as they are willing to give into a more mischievous side that enjoys creating chaos and causing trouble. A quality far more befitting of someone seeking attention than of one that seeks to prove their own perfection. Beyond their superiority complex, they clearly have no idea how to act around others, often coming across as awkward and somewhat gullible. They tend to get defensive when people start to pressure them about just about anything, especially in regards to themself.
Backstory: Blank because I'm lazy :/
Other: Seren almost constantly uses their illusions as a form of makeup, something which comes as easily as breathing to them. Definitely not a 'Good Rules Child' but whatever
Appearance: Seren tends to appear as a thin, 5'10 androgynous figure with delicate, pale features. They tend to wear dark colors that complement their messy white hair and piercing pink eyes. Loose fitting dress shirts and dark jeans are their go-to look. Overall Seren loves using their appearance to stand out, their vain personality thriving off of the attention. Reference Pic
Neat! Would you allow something like an animal companion, if it's connected to the character's powers? (Still haven't decided on the details, but I could have a separate CSs, if that's easier)
Yeah, you can have an animal companion, just keep it mostly animal and less second character, y'know? Oh and if you want to talk details feel free to join the Discord and we can chat there so the thread isn't too cluttered.
Appearance: Cinna has dark green, medium length hair which is often kept up and away from his face. His eyes are light brown and his skin is slightly tan and freckled from spending most of his time outside. Most notable feature is a big scar on his cheek. Priit is a big cat, with long brown fur and black stripes. With a few lighter markings in the face and bright, blue eyes. Her camouflage fits better to the deep, dark forest to the north, where the sun rarely reaches through the canopy.
Personality: Although he might apprehensive as first, once he have warmed up to someone Cinna is generally a very happy and playful person. He is curious about the world around him, even if big changes can make him anxious. Having grown up in the forest, he is naturally very quiet and usually doesn’t talk much. He prefers to observe the world around him from a high, safe spot, away from any crowd of people. Despite her big size, Priit is extremely cautious and avoids strangers at all cause. She is driven by Cinna’s wanderlust and curiosity, but is generally a very lazy. Her instincts to protect Cinna at all cause runs deep in her and all she really wants is a safe place to claim as their territory.
Powers: Animal communication: Can understand and communicate with animals and sometimes get them to do as he wants, but it’s not certain to work and it works better with smaller, less intelligent animals. He can talk to them and they would understand, but since animals don’t have a language, Cinna relies on sounds and body language to understand the animals.
Animal bond: He shares a special bond with Priit, an oversized tiger-like creature. Their connection gives them the ability to communicate mentally, even at a distance. Cinna also possesses the agility and heightened senses of the bigger cat, while Priit seems to have an unnatural intelligence, even seemingly understanding other people’s speech and sometimes appear to converse with Cinna.
Friends/Allies: Priit ("big, strong little sister/animal companion") Foes/Enemies: No one.. Yet..
Backstory: Cinna only have vague memories of being born among humans. Because of his slightly strange appearance, although he could easily enough pass as human as long as his hair is covered, and even stranger behavior, his parents suspected him to be a faerie changeling and went to return him back to the forest. Though only half-correct in assuming his faerie origin, the forest took him back, nonetheless and was soon found and picked up by a big, brown cat. The young female raised him and eventually had a litter of her own. Once they reached maturity and was ready to set out on their own, Cinna decided to join the biggest of his younger siblings, who he had grown especially close with. After earning his “stripe”, his curiosity of the world sent them further away from home than normal and together they roamed, wanting to learn more about humans, faeries, beasts and everything between.
Other: Since it was hard finding pictures of what I had in mind, I made pictures of them myself.. I don’t think it makes sense for Cinna to actually have glasses, tho.. It just looked cute.. And I imagine he’d wear something slightly more fitting for being outdoors, but there weren’t a lot of options on that front.. I am a good rules beans..

Appearance: Cog is a young fae who most often appears with still-developing ram's horns on his head as well as goat-like legs and hooves. Otherwise he appears human, except for the overabundance of hair on his arms and chest. He stands at about 5'7" not counting his horns. He has a mop of messy brown hair and bright green eyes, and more facial hair than one would expect in a human of his age.
Personality: He is generally quite shy towards strangers and comes across as a bit odd to those who don't live in the forest. He was brought up deep in the woods, and has had little contact with any creatures besides the animals that live near his home. However, he has a very kind heart and is willing to put himself in danger to help those who are in trouble. He also makes friends with anyone who shares his love of animals and nature.
Powers: *Enchanted Flute - Cog can influence people who hear the music he plays on his wooden flute. He cannot 'mind control' listeners, but merely influence their emotional state based on what type of music he plays, and can make them more suggestable to the things he says. This would have little effect on someone who is charging at him in a murderous rage, but could greatly influence someone who has a neutral or positive view of him. While his song is playing, those listening who are in an easily influenced state will pay close attention to his performance and find it difficult to look away or stop listening, as the music is enchantingly beautiful beyond what a mortal could play.
*Animal Forms - Cog is able to change his physical form to take on the traits of animals he has spent time observing. These traits will grant him some of the biological advantages of that animal, for example, his most common goatlike form gives him excellent climbing ability and allows him to attack using his horns. He does not fully transform into an animal, but takes on one or two of their physical features that will serve some purpose for him.
Friends/Allies: His younger sister; anyone who appreciates nature and animals Foes/Enemies: The people responsible for kidnapping his sister
Backstory: Cog and his sister Crya were separated from their mother and father at a young age when they were killed by a party of human hunters. The two lived alone, deep in the forest for many years after that, and took care of each other without the help of their family. Cog hoped that they could live happily in the woods forever, but unfortunately they were attacked again. This time the humans were not hunting to kill, but were "Unnatural" traffickers looking to capture a rare creature. They stole Crya away and left Cog behind because he was severely injured, and they believed he wouldn't survive a journey back to the city anyway. A wood sprite took pity on Cog and healed his wounds so that he could survive. He decided to journey to the city in order to find his sister.
Name: Cog Thistlehorn Species: Fae Appearance: Cog is a young satyr with still-developing ram's horns on his head as well as goat-like legs and hooves. So this looks mostly good, but 'fae' in this world doesn't include things like satyrs/centaurs/other mythical races. It's more of a general term for 'nature spirit' or 'elemental', so a dryad or a water nymph can fit in but a dwarf wouldn't if that makes sense. You can keep the satyr elements if you'd like but I ask that you tie them to a power if you do that (ex: can transform into a ram/has the powers of a goat). Also, people can't gift powers but you can include illusion or glamour as one of your powers - or you could go the route of your character having a specific power to "borrow" the powers of others.
Just some lore things that need edits, but otherwise I love the concept.
