"Sorry turns out I'm jumpy. Can't imagine why." Her tone was a hint softer, leaning just a little more then sarcasm then animosity. Some of that of course was still there however. Wanting to do the right thing and help didn't put aside blood ties wanting something else. The woman who killed her sister burned down her home and rekilled undead family turned out made someone defensive. "Also uh while I've used a shower in probably every city from here to Duskburg, torn up clothes may as well be my fashion." They knew the witch breed had been on the road. There was countless stops and uses of many motels and hotels over a few nights.
She was living on a budget though. The leftover funds of her family was good for car maintenance and travel but that left little for food or clothes. Resulting in a cheap but affordable diet and clothes that had all the wear and tear of well vigilante/hero work. She proceeded to pick up the sword in her right hand, setting the tire iron shed been holding on the hood of her car.
There's an attempt to twirl it in her hand which was then resulting in a fumble. She switches to grasping it with two hands rather then trying to be artistic about things. Her stance itself was decent, more in line with something seen in movies however then practiced. "Septimus seems the better choice for teacher. But for some reason I really want to fight someone else." There was a lie there, given who they were they'd pick up on it. Wounds still made her want something more than just a fight. It was also however honest, desire to be a hero and contradict who Isabella was meant she wasn't going to go for the throat. "I'll take losing to both. Crash course from both of you as it were."
Darting inwards a swing of the blade would go for the left shoulder of Kore. In a real fight it'd have likely gone for the throat but restraint was exercised. As for the force of the blow it was more meant for swiftness then pure cutting potential. This slash however did not have proper edge alignment in the swing itself. She wasn't a sword user she wasn't a master of knowing how to cut. She stayed ready to move to ideally avoid an incoming attack. It's possible though her excuse of a defense wasn't ready for one foe let alone two.
This cut of hers was sprung forth into a pirouette. Rotating into trying to slash at Septimus' right side. The sword aimed for around the gut looking to part the torso. This slash given the haste had better alignment, but the actual force was less. Even in trying not to cut either to deep there was a natural shift in how hard she went on the two. Perhaps more significant though was just that spinning around in a giant circle that was a move for the movies. Spinning was a good trick for film choreography in a actual fight it just exposed ones back to the opponent for a moment.
