The Diamond Inn was a club down into the heart of the city located just across the street from where it drew its namesake. The number one jewelry store in the city loaded with gold and diamonds. It was a club for the rich it sold itself on being near the store where a fist sized diamond was an actual thing on a shelf. For having a car dealership close by that acted like a Lamborghini was a casual purchase. It was busy and the club though not having a line to get in right now and barely opening to the night life was still busy. A crowd was forming and soon there would be commotion added to this.
Four motorcycles pulled in. Loud things, the Harleys fit more for a biker gang then some upscale establishment. There was Rick a six foot two guy who looked like the gym was his religion the kind of redhead who was in his thirties and been growing that thick beard for half of it, a pistol was at his hip hand cannon in size. There was Jane, small thing five foot three, she was a Hispanic woman who had more ink on her then most could count. The woman had a knife twirling in hand, a practiced artistry with it. Then There was Bob a heavier built man who took up a decent amount of the doorway as he entered. Fair bit of ink and pistol on his hip didn't take away from his friendly demeanor. The only issue was the prison ink on his neck that told of lives taken, three in number.
The bartender was starting to tell them off but paused.
Ashley had to duck a little to get through the door. An eight foot tall woman who seemed ripped but more so stood out because she was green. "No. Get out. I'm not serving your kind?"
"What green? You envious?"
Another bar tender looked on in worry. Knew what he meant but this seemed a minefield of a situation. The shift lead continued "don’t play that card. It's not what you are its the obvious life style decisions."
"Oh so being green is okay but not what, considering bikers family? What can sell drugs under the table but only if in a suit?" A hand raised and with it the bar tender did as well slowly levitating off the ground. He was pulled from behind the counter and moved to the dance floor. By now the patrons were all eyes on the bikers and the jolly green giant as it were. "Now we are going to talk robbing the jewelry store and some other places if anyone wants to join. Way we see it a girl has to eat and these guys got bills to pay. Try not to make us being here an issue." She eased her hold on the bar tender, and with that he seemed to fall in slow motion.
It was the best Ashley could do right now. Truthfully she was starving. She would have rather jumped to making a scene but the others didn't like that play. A show of powers, being around drunks hopefully they could rope more into a heist. They were not a group fit for knocking out cameras and concealing themselves. They needed bodies and fear tactics. "Oh and.. Get me a mineral water and your wedding ring." Ashley remarked toward the not falling bar tender. He was hesitant, she tightened a grip on the counter, the wood beginning to splinter. He was going through a lot, he didn't shop at jewelry stores like the one near by at all but staying out of harms way made him compliant.
Fingers pinched the ring and it seemed to liquidate as it fell into the water. Which the green figure then began to sip. "Now then let's talk business.". Maybe someone here would join them, maybe social media would blow and draw unwanted attention early. Ashley honestly didn't mind, sure she didn't want friends hurt but they were not stealthy they did things with gravitas.
