TTX / τχ
Tyche Tickets / Tickets / Tix
Digital-only currency, regulated by Tyche, company store voucher cryptocoin
Skimmers mainly rely on old SU currency, plastic bills and coins, worth far more than TTX due to limited supply
TYs / Ties
Terrestrial Years, based on Earth's calendar revolution. There is also TD and TM (Terrestrial Days/Months). Mainly used for galactic recordkeeping and standardization, planetary records will often have both planetary measurements and Terrestrial.
TRAPPIST-1e (Colony Argos) is probably the closest thing to a true center of the operation - it was one of the first planets Tyche colonized and is home to several cities, and also acts as a "new trade axis" of sorts after Tyche circumvented the Sol System. The major cities of Argos are
Inachus, the first colony built, situated at the edge of the massive Inachos river and the largest shipyard on the planet, major corporate and trade hub
Phoroneus, a massive mining city built near one of Argos' oceans
Apis, another, smaller mining city located in a natural valley of the Apisi mountain range.
TOI-700d (Colony Zeleia)
Pandarus, first city on Zeleia
Distant "frontier planet" from the rest of Tyche's system
ISB - Internal Security Branch, Tyche's domestic security
TYC - Tyche Youth Corps, high school military fast track club
Venus
Terrible, terrible place to live, even before it stopped existing. Entire structures built on stilts above the surface, terrible living conditions, tight, small rooms and rampant crime. Only industries planet side are mining and low skill factory work. After the Sol Union started to slip during the war, many blocks were taken over by Block Leaders (gangs)
Luna
A bit of a second Earth. Space suburbia - lot of middle class homes here. Dome cities stretch across the surface. High density agriculture, tourism, estates. Massive but largely defunct spaceport that acted as a staging ground for Solar Union ships before Mars Base was established.
Mars
Corporate and grey. Large military installments, forward camps. Architecture seems partially sunken in the sand. Sky has a blue hue due to terraforming efforts. Big military and civilian spaceport, current staging ground for Solar Union ships. Mining operations separate from the living spaces, also home to asteroid hoppers harvesting from the belt. Refineries as well.
Europa
Water farm and mining colony, largely underground established in ice pockets below the surface.
Ganymede
Agricultural, as well as gas refinery.
Lost Pluto
Originally a penal colony of the Solar Union. Relatively self-sufficient, some military bases, largely industrial/agricultural. Scrap culture, everything is recycled. When the Solar System was dipped, Pluto survived. It lost its orbit, hasn't cleared the Oort Cloud yet, largely ignored/presumed gone by Tyche. Big crossroads for skimmers and criminals of all sorts. Solar Union navy maintained their presence here after the dip, remnants of military joined up with them, core of the rebellion.
