The remaining crew was putting out the fire or tending to their own wounded. The hostages were harassing the fisherman who'd gotten the heroes here. On the plus side the soldiers were as such no longer a threat and civilians not in danger. The down side was the boatmen needed a plan as himself and three girls had been about as full as the small vessel could hope for. Helping the hostages and letting the villains escape was quicker. Stopping the villains might be an option but how fast or safe was that really?
The painter took the gunshot for the kid and survived. Nemo was impressed to say the least, the pistol of his was a hand cannon more desert eagle then glock he thought it'd have done better. The laser was also halted by the woman who seemed to twist light about her. His firearm wasn't going to stop the painter and so long as the woman in a dress was around he couldn't use his lasers on anyone. It was a good counter all things considered. It was exciting really how well they were foiling things for him.
X was doing well I'm the fight but some of the moves were also stopped as reality shifted. Paint moving to mend the yacht in places going so far as catching a spear. It was honestly a challenge to wrap his head around just what happened there. Paint making some sort of foam or adhesive sure, weaponized why not, but to move how it did because of the kid? It wasn't like it was telekenesis either, not that he had experience with such really but it went against expectations. What the blanket wearer did, did not seem like moving something to her will, but more like everything normalized that will. There wasn't a pull, just a was. He laughed at the remark though. "It's like reality bends to you but you can only ask me to leave?"
The hostage would be thrown a forceful action threatening to send them smashing against the boat side and tumbling into the ocean. With the amount of force used bones would break, maybe a leg maybe ones back possibly even a concussion. Point was if they hit the rail they would go over, and if they went over they wouldn't be swimming. Hands free also meant Nemo could go more on the offensive. Painter might be in a suit equipped for gunfire, but a dress wasn't. The high caliber round would bark seeking to rip through the dancer's gut. The round hit or miss likely to keep going until hitting a wall.
No hostage also meant another arm free though. If he couldn't use lasers then moving for his spear seemed the next best logical move. Attacks didn't come for him leaving plenty to room to thrust the spear at the young girl. Seeking to drive the weapon meant to Lance into boats, to pass through a blanket of a cape and shoulder. "You want to be a good hero you need to stop me, not ask me to stop."
