The sounds of the home were groaning, sounds of giving supports that cried like something dying. The flames spread and crackled, the embers noisy like the cackling dead. The home was old wood and was being forced to be even worse it wasn't built to stand ag a inst fires, and it being a magical ablaze didn't help. The witch even wanted to burn the home down in a magical site like this that will if anything would almost egg the inferno on.
With a will of iron the witch managed to stay in the fight and to move from to much further harm. Even while the wound tried to exhaust the body and feeble the mind a effort was being made to rise to the occasion and take action. A spell was cast and with it a haunted weapon found itself stuck in place. The magic used bound the spectral properties of it in place and so it was hard for the haunted weapon to really act. While the weapon might be restrained though there was another issue in the artifacts wanted.
The "blessed" skull could be taken. It could be carried by corporal body or ghostly one. The chance to learn of its rituals or secrets was there for ones claiming. If Silvaria wanted to take that and then escape the home or go to Kore that was entirely doable.
The box housing the gems though that remained. That was something else entirely.
As hands went to reach it runes would glow. It was meant to be handled by mortal human hands it didn't want to give to anything else. It didn't respond to ghostly forms, the armored and clothed would find it heavier then most could ever perceive as movable. It was something unprotected hands were meant to touch. Unshielded hands that were exposed to the powers of necromancy. It wasn't well hidden in that drawer because it was designed to rot away the body of those who touched it. To eat at ones health and years. Now maybe the soulless or Isabella's is undead could touch it safely, but perhaps that was no surprise for a necromancer. Of course there were other powers in the world to, those who might age differently or heal better. The box was meant to be taken by the human hand, but nowadays "mortality" might be longer. Or maybe spells could be tried.
Attempting to get the box though also meant being locked in a burning room of a house threatening to collapse.

The basement mortuary echoes with the sound of a dying home. Of structural collapse and dancing fires. The inferno didn't bleed into the basment though. If anything the lower floors of the home were fit to become a tomb.
The amalgamations in their lunge miss the target. Ability to teleport makes for an easy out even when the opposition is fast. Insects are summoned and bound the pair of undead. They've a monstrous might to them but even if it was enough to rip free it wasn't enough to escape before being pounced on. They're on the floor as throwing blades cut at the cables around.
Blood spills onto the walls and floor fountains from where the lines were cut. The clinical but grimey sight warped into a bloody one. "You came for a ghost? Doubtful." These two didn't know the full story but they knew the Isabella here was more the forgotten severance of a now dead necromancer. The Isabella, was dead.
"You offer a good ending. But end the ritual to be complete. You offer chance to do right, when we are born for harvesting death. We just want to live but you end that, and act against what we live for." No they would take action instead. The first of the two would push to its feet in webbed but functional limbs. It was to adhesive it couldn't get far, so instead one step to step and lunge ripping itself free. The hulking form would tear itself from its legs the remaining body going for a tackle. Multiple arms looking to coil about the hunter and then squeeze. A might that could crush cars.
The second figure would reach into the tub. Hands splashing at the tide of red, the sound of pooling and spilling blood filling the basment as it dug for something in the tub. It didn't expect to be complete so it pulled the gem from the pit and took it into hand. A stone that would bath the room in scarlet light and a stone the abomination would make an effort to crush.
While one terror sure to die soon tried to stop Kore, t other would take another step in releasing Isabella. With each stone came power but also with their shattering a promise of a vile return being closer. Interrupted the abominations expected to die now but if they were going to them they would die in service to their maker.
